Can you tell me how to create a short cut to a folder?

Answer

“Short Cuts” are called an “Alias” on a Mac. You can make one by using any of the techniques below:

  1. Select the original folder and hold down Command + Option and drag it to a new location. Then you can move it wherever you want.
  2. OR, you can highlight the folder and go to File –> Make Alias.
  3. OR you can highlight the file and click Command+L.
