Ask Lena: Mambo's Meta tags

November 8, 2010 / Updated: November 8, 2010 / Lena Shore

Question

Hey Lena, this has been bugging me for a long time and in the age of Facebook, etc. I really need to resolve it. How can I make it so the Mambo information and the Mambo logo do not appear in our meta-whatevers? If I try to link to the site in Facebook, the text refers to Mambo?

Answer

Yes, this information is in the meta tags of Mambo. Facebook is just trying to grab that information and display it to help viewers understand what your link is about. You can change this by going to the Global Configuration of Mambo and looking for the Metadata area.
