Question

While using InDesign, how do I set the side rulers to increments of 13 points (the same as the text slug of 11pt 13 leading). I need to be able to use the rulers in all layouts as the basic body text size and leading is the same.

Answer

While in InDesign – If you right click either the horizontal or vertical ruler, you will see some options to change the ruler increments. One of them is “custom”. Just change the value to 13 points. You’ll need to treat each ruler separately.

If you need this to be the default, you can go to InDesign –> Preferences –> Units & Increments and change the horizontal and/or vertical rulers.
